The Bulgarian air carrier Bulgaria Air has received excellent feedback from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport for its green policy and modernized fleet, the company announced Monday. The Dutch airport reported in December that Bulgaria Air is one of the best-performing airlines in 2025 in terms of reducing noise pollution and carbon emissions.

Thanks to the new Airbus A220 aircraft, the Bulgarian carrier operated 99% of its flights to and from Amsterdam in the quietest noise categories, S6 and S7. Data for the period January - October 2025 show that 600 of 608 flights met these criteria.

The reference from Schiphol emphasizes that the excellent results over these ten months represent a significant improvement compared to the same period in 2024, when the airline’s performance was 78%, according to Bulgaria Air.
