Iron Maiden announced new dates for their two-year Run For Your Lives tour marking the band’s 50th anniversary, with the British group set to perform at Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia, organizers from Fest Team said on Thursday. The Sofia concert is scheduled for May 26, 2026.

The organizers announced that the setlist will include songs from the most influential early years of Iron Maiden’s career, and the show is anticipated to be the band’s most impressive yet. They referred to the tour as a unique event, offering fans in Sofia a rare chance to experience it live.

The Run For Your Lives tour will stop in Athens, Greece, on May 23; Bucharest, Romania, on May 28; Bratislava, Slovakia, on May 30; Hanover, Germany, on June 2; Amsterdam, Netherlands, on June 10; Milan, Italy, on June 17; Paris, France, on June 22; Lyon-Décines, France, on June 28; Lisbon, Portugal, on July 7; and the United Kingdom on July 11 for a special headline show.

A key event in 2026 is the band’s return to Paris for a special performance at La Défense Arena, which will be recorded. Smallwood noted that most fans on this tour respected the band’s request to limit mobile phone use during the concerts, creating a unique and enjoyable atmosphere for both the audience and the band.

The Fest Team reports that 2026 will be a particularly busy year for Iron Maiden, and as a result, no concerts are scheduled for 2027 following this tour.

Eddie’s Official Pop-Up Dive Bar will be available at the national stadium in Sofia in May next year, providing a gathering spot for fans before and after the concert.
