The third edition of the Krakra Jazz festival will take place in Pernik on Friday and Saturday, Liliya Kucheva from the event’s organizing team told BTA. The music programme opens Friday evening on the open-air stage at the eponymous medieval fortress, with free admission for all visitors.

This year’s Krakra Jazz line-up features British band Stereo MC’s, US group Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and the Portuguese project Alvaro Pinto Quintet. Audiences will also enjoy performances by Luca Aquino & Moba, Bogdan Nikolic Orkestar, Diamusk and International Dub Orchestra, Andorra, Reboot the Mood, Judith Hill, and Proces.

The festival promises a rich variety of styles and interpretations, turning Pernik into a magnet for jazz lovers and fans of quality live music.

The first edition of Krakra Jazz took place in August 2023, drawing strong interest from music enthusiasts both in the city and across Bulgaria. The event is organized by the Culture Pernik Foundation with the support of the municipal administration.
