site.btaSadeck Berrabah’s Murmuration Dance Show Comes to Bulgaria in 2026

Murmuration, the acclaimed production by French choreographer Sadeck Berrabah, is coming to Bulgaria in 2026. The dance show will be staged at the Ancient Roman Theatre in Plovdiv with two performances on June 27 and 28, the organizers from BG Sound Stage announced.

The project is inspired by the natural harmony and geometric motion of bird flocks, known as murmuration, and translates this phenomenon into choreography marked by absolute synchronicity and visual enchantment, the organizers said. “With thirty dancers on stage moving through variable geometry techniques and the emblematic tutting style, based on geometric movements of the limbs, Murmuration becomes a living work of art, depicting the hypersensory harmony that can emerge from collective action,” the organizers added.

For the Ancient Roman Theatre in Plovdiv, Berrabah’s creative team is preparing special video material designed for projection mapping, a contemporary visual technique that interacts with the historic stage, BG Sound Stage explained.

Sadeck Berrabah has established himself as one of the most innovative artists in contemporary choreography, amassing millions of views on social media and collaborating with artists such as Shakira, Chris Brown, and the Black Eyed Peas, as well as contributing to events like the Grammy Awards and the handover ceremonies of the Olympics in Tokyo and Paris.

Berrabah says that his dance aims to show what a body can do when it is fully synchronized with others. Harmony is the strongest message artists can send nowadays, Berrabah adds that he deeply believes in the power of collective unity.

Since its premiere in Paris in April 2023, the production has been seen by more than 300,000 spectators, with over 200 sold-out performances across France, including at Zenith Paris arena. The international tour continues with stops across Europe, the Middle East, Canada, China, and the Caribbean, endorsing Murmuration as one of the most significant cultural events of our time.
