site.btaJazz Trails Festival to Be Held in Ezerets Aug. 15-18

The Jazz Trails festival will be held in the Shabla village of Ezerets from August 15 to 18, featuring a music and cultural programme with performers from Bulgaria and abroad, said festival art director Pavleta Prodanova on Wednesday. Prodanova, who also organized the recent Jazz by the Sea festival, better known as Jezerets, added that the great interest in music and the place itself was the reason to organize another festival, but on a larger scale.

Jazz Trails will take place at the chitalishte community centre in Ezerets with an opening photo exhibition “Jazz in Us” by photographer Stefan Stefanov, featuring images from jazz festivals in Ezerets over the years. 

The program features concerts, creative workshops, a masterclass, events for kids and a film screening to close the festival. 

The festival is funded through the European Union’s Next Generation programme.
