During a parliamentary debate on a report on BTA's activities and finances in 2024 here on Friday, Lyuben Dilov MP of GERB-UDF said that the National Assembly rarely has the opportunity to comment on good news and good trends, and BTA's report is just such a trend.

In Dilov's words, there are two extremely important directions in the Bulgarian News Agency's development that lead it not only to its past glory as the main information tool of the Bulgarian society, but also solve important and complex tasks that today's time sets, such as the hybrid war. "I sincerely advise you to share BTA news, it is a proven effective remedy against the propaganda wars that are waged on social networks, against hybrid attacks," Dilov urged his fellow MPs. 

Over the past year, the Bulgarian News Agency, besides having created an impressive correspondent network that returned municipalities to the national news territory, BTA has done something else that is remarkable, Dilov noted. He also said that the correspondents are obliged to visit within a certain period every single settlement in the municipality they are responsible for, to take a few photos at the entrance, at the exit, of a landmark and of the mayor. "This is a way in which BTA's management forces its correspondents to know all the authorities in their area," the MP said.
