An exhibition showcasing the work of French visual artists will open in Sofia’s Rivoli Gallery on May 29, the event’s hosts said.

Titled "French Art," the exhibition brings together both emerging and established artists in a visual dialogue that spans eras, styles, and ideas.

The exhibition will feature works by iconic French artists such as Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, and Raoul Dufy. It will also present influential figures of the modern era such as Jean Cocteau, Paul Belmondo, and Jean Marais, alongside contemporary visual artists such as NumericEric, Le Yack, Chroma, and Norman Gekko, among others. The exhibition is a visual narrative of France’s rich artistic tradition, showcasing a wide variety of styles, periods, and mediums - from classical painting and sculpture to digital art and conceptual experiments, the organizers said.
