The Culture Ministry reported on its achievements during  the first 100 days under Minister  Marian Bachev. From the first day of his inauguration, the minister began to solve problems accumulated over the years in the field of culture, the ministry said on its website. 

In parallel with "catching up on the many delayed procedures and cases", the ministry's team has started activities to implement the goals, measures and priorities set in the management programme in the field of culture. During the reporting period, there were also emergency situations, the ministry added. 

Among the highlights in the work of the ministry is securing more funding for culture - by nearly 15% compared to the previous year, as well as securing funding for outstanding payments from 2024 in performing arts, cultural heritage and regional activities. There are currently no late payments, the department reports.
