Bulgaria will join the European campaign Opre Roma! (Stand up, Roma!) with an exhibition dedicated to Roma literature and culture as part of Bulgarian culture. The exhibition will be opened on Tuesday, April 8 - International Roma Day, at the National Library in Sofia, the press centre of the Council of Ministers said.

The exhibition is organized by the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues at the Council of Ministers in partnership with the National Library and presents little-known but significant pages of Roma literature and culture in Bulgaria.

The event is held under the patronage of Atanas Zafirov, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues under the Council of Ministers.
