Bulgarian MP Stanislav Anastasov of Movement for Right and Freedoms – New Beginning, a member of Bulgaria’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe reported in a Facebook post Thursday that the need to enhance complementarity between NATO and the European Union in defence and deterrence, as well as issues related to critical infrastructure and societal resilience, was a key topic at the Inter-Parliamentary Conference on the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), held under the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Anastasov added that the newly elected Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko was a guest of the forum.

Also representing Bulgaria at the conference were Denitsa Sacheva, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy, and Hristo Gadzhev, Chair of the Committee on Defence.
