The conference will also address the financial resources and mechanisms employed by the EU and private investors to identify and support the most promising startups and technologies.

Key participants include Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation (via a video address), Tomislav Donchev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth, Prof. Sylvia Ilieva, Director of the GATE Institute at Sofia University, Teodor Radonov, Head of the European Investment Bank Group’s office in Bulgaria, Evgeny Angelov, Chairman of the Bulgarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, Dobromir Ivanov, CEO of BESCO - the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Association.

“The joint efforts of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and BOYANOV & Co. aim once again to place Bulgaria on the European and global map of innovative destinations,” Ivan Mihaylov, CEO of AmCham Bulgaria, and Borislav Boyanov, Managing Partner at BOYANOV & Co., said in a joint statement announcing the event.
