site.btaSofia Conference to Look at 2026 Prospects for Bulgarian Tourism

A conference, titled “Destination Bulgaria: In Focus in 2026”, will open in Sofia on Tuesday. It is organized by the National Board of Tourism Board, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism.

The aim of the forum is to present the events of greatest importance for establishing Bulgaria as a tourist destination next year that will attract a large number of visitors from Bulgaria and abroad and will have a direct economic contribution. The Board believes that the forum will demonstrate the significance and added value of tourism services for related industries.

Participating in the conference will be Tourism Minister Miroslav Borshosh, mayors of municipalities, representatives of various ministries, the National Culture Fund, Trend polling agency, the Institute for Market Economics, the Bulgarian Festival Association, the Bulgarian Convention Bureau, the National Palace of Culture (NDK), the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation, the Institute for Analyses and Assessments in Tourism, and other involved institutions.
