site.btaCabinet Allocates Nearly BGN 37 Mln for Work with Children, Students at Risk of Dropping Out of Education

The Government has allocated BGN 36,859,143 to kindergartens and schools for working with children and students from vulnerable groups at risk of dropping out of the education system, the Cabinet's press centre said on Wednesday.

Part of the funds will be used to pay additional salaries to employees involved in teams working to cover and integrate children into the education system, staff involved in measures to support access to education and prevent the risk of dropping out, as well as to pay for additional Bulgarian language lessons for children who do not speak the language.

There is also the possibility of appointing educational mediators, social workers, and teacher assistants in institutions.
