site.btaPresident Radev to Attend BTL Industries Opening in Plovdiv, Visit Samokov Thursday

President Rumen Radev will visit Plovdiv and Samokov, the President’s Press Secretariat said here on Thursday.

In Plovdiv, South Central Bulgaria, Radev is scheduled to attend the official opening of a new medical equipment manufacturing centre of the Czech company BTL Industries.

The centre, covering more than 29,000 sq. m. and equipped with automated manufacturing and warehouse systems, dedicated parking, and modern office spaces, is one of the largest Czech investments in Bulgaria to date, with a value approaching BGN 100 million, according to the organizers.

The opening ceremony in Plovdiv will also be attended by Czech Ambassador Miroslav Toman, Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce Chair Maxim Behar, as well as representatives from the executive branch and local authorities.

Later, Radev will visit Samokov, Southwestern Bulgaria, where he is scheduled to attend the official opening of the multi-purpose commercial, residential, and sports complex SamElion.
