Bulgaria’s Council of Ministers will hold its regular meeting on Wednesday, with a draft decision on the agenda proposing that the National Assembly ratify an agreement aimed at improving navigation along the Danube, the Government Information Service said.

The agreement, signed between Bulgaria’s Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River and Romania’s Galati Lower Danube River Administration on April 24, 2025, covers the joint management of public procurements related to the FAST Danube 2 project. The project focuses on improving navigation conditions in the Romanian-Bulgarian section of the Danube River.

The Cabinet is also expected to review the 2024 activity report of the Public Financial Inspection Agency.

The agenda includes three draft amendments to the Criminal Code, among other items.
