In a post on Facebook on Saturday, Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria described May 24, the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture, and Slav Letters, as "the holiday that brings us together as a nation". "The holiday that allows us to say 'thank you' to all educators, awakeners, and enlighteners," the post said. 

CC-DB wrote that every single letter of the Bulgarian alphabet carries meaning, evokes memory and embodies culture.
