The head of State will be welcomed at the training centre by a guard of honour prior to the start of the competition, Radev’s press secretariat said. The President will award the winning team at a ceremony. President Radev will be accompanied by his spouse, Desislava Radeva.

Nine teams will take part in the competition: three from the 2nd Mechanized Brigade in Stara Zagora, two from the 61st Mechanised Brigade in Karlovo, one from the Third Brigade Command in Blagoevgrad, one from the Fifth Brigade Command in Pleven, and one from the Smolyan-based 101st Alpine Regiment.
