The Interior Minister has reviewed the work of the regional police directorates and is looking for ways to make them more efficient, said Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, taking a question on the replacement of police chiefs across the country. 

"The Interior Minister has the powers to replace regional police chiefs where there is need. I can assure you that we haven't discussed these replacements," said Denkov.

Denkov spoke after a news briefing at the Council of Ministers to present measures against violence and aggression.
