Yes, Bulgaria Co-chair and Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria MP Ivaylo Mirchev told reporters on Sunday that negotiations are currently underway on the coalition's MP candidates to run in the April 19 elections. "We expect the best possible representation - to meet the expectations of the people from the [December 2025 anti-government] protests - and for the best candidates to be part of the lists," he noted.

In his words, the CC-DB's platform has not changed; it clearly states "a strong Bulgaria in a strong Europe" and includes a clear plan to dismantle the Borissov-Peevski model. He was referring to GERB leader Boyko Borissov and MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski. "Our job is to stay in the centre, with a clear platform, vision, and priorities. From here on out, the others will have to adapt to this,” he added, replying to a question about possible partners in the next parliament. Regarding security and the economy, it turns out that if Bulgaria has any true partners, they are in the European Union, the MP noted.

CC-DB still wants a judicial reform, he underscored. In his words, fair elections can hardly be expected with the current acting Prosecutor General. It is high time Borislav Sarafov was removed from his office, because he is occupying it illegally. There is a legal way for this to happen, but he is not complying with the law, Mirchev believes.
