The caretaker Minister of Defence, Atanas Zapryanov, has informed the National Assembly of orders he issued authorizing the passage through Bulgaria's airspace and the presence of foreign and allied armed forces and equipment, Parliament Chair Raya Nazaryan said during Wednesday's plenary session. The orders have also been submitted to the parliamentary Committee on Defence.
The orders were issued on the basis of the Allied and Foreign Armed Forces Passage through and Stay on the Territory of the Republic of Bulgaria Act.
