site.btaDr Hasan Ademov: Minister of Labour and Social Policy

Born in Isperih (Northeastern Bulgaria) on January 24, 1953. Graduated from Varna Medical University as a specialist in anaesthesiology and resuscitation in 1979. First elected to National Assembly in 1997, has been MP in 11 parliaments. On numerous occasions has been chair and deputy chair of parliamentary committees on labour and social policy (2010-2013) and on health.

When the Movement for Rights and Freedoms split, Ademov remained loyal to the party's ex-honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan and represents the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms in the current 51st National Assembly. He chaired the Committee on Demographic Policy, Children and Family (January-June 2026).

Ademov was minister of labour and social policy in the Plamen Oresharski cabinet (May 2013 - August 2014).
