site.btaHeavy Car Traffic Reported at Bulgaria–Serbia Border’s Kalotina Crossing


Тraffic is heavy for cars in both directions аt the Kalotina border crossing point (BCP) on the border with Serbia,, the Border Police reported on its website Monday. The information on border traffic is as of 6:00 a.m.
Traffic at border crossings with Romania is normal. Major repairs continue on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, and a temporary traffic organization is in place. Crossing is limited to one lane with regulated passage controlled by employees of the contractor company.
Traffic at the border with the Republic of North Macedonia is normal. The Border Police remind travelers that traffic in both directions through the Stanke Lisichkovo BCP has been restored.
Traffic is normal at all border crossing points with Turkiye.
Construction work is being carried out on the Greek side of the Rudozem–Xanthi route. Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site and entry by unauthorized persons is prohibited, the Bulgarian border authorities said.
At the Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad border crossings, passage is allowed only for cars and vans weighing up to 3.5 tonnes.
