Traffic is heavy for outbound cars at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint with Turkiye and for inbound cars at the Kalotina border checkpoint with Serbia, the Border Police Directorate General at the Ministry of the Interior said on Monday morning.

Traffic is normal at the border with Romania. Renovation work on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is ongoing. Temporary traffic arrangements have been introduced. Traffic is limited to a single lane.

Traffic is normal at the border with North Macedonia.The overall reconstruction of the Stanke Lisichkovo border control check point with North Macedonia is ongoing. Due to the renovation work, traffic is being processed through a limited number of lanes.

Construction works are taking place at the Rudozem - Xanthi route on the Greek side. Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the areas near Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
