8th International Summer Leadership Academy Begins in Kavala, Greece

The eighth edition of the International Summer Leadership Academy, held under the theme “Leadership Through Education,” begins Monday, as announced by the Higher School of Telecommunications and Posts (HSTP). The Academy is taking place in Kavala, Greece, until June 13, in partnership with the Municipality of Kavala, the Bulgarian Sunday School in Kavala, and the Bulgaria Society.

The academy hosts students from various Bulgarian universities who have a strong interest in the topic of leadership.

The program includes experience sharing, personal success stories, best practices, and valuable lessons from both the successes and failures of the speakers. The aim is to equip participants with new skills and attitudes, while fostering awareness of socially significant causes and encouraging the formation of positions on important issues and challenges.

According to HSTP, this year’s special guests include Ilia Lazarov, Member of the European Parliament; Milen Mitev, Director General of the Bulgarian National Radio; Kiril Valchev, Director General of the Bulgarian News Agency; Tatyana Karova, Chair of the Bulgarian-Turkish Women’s Business Club; Prof. Dr. Dobromir Dimitrov, Rector of the Pleven Medical University; Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Koprev, Rector of the University of Mining and Geology in Sofia; and Lyubomir Karimanski, Member of the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank.
