site.btaUS F-35 Fighter Jet Presented at Defence Exhibition in Bucharest
The world's most advanced combat aircraft, US F-35 fighter jet, was displayed for the first time at the Black Sea Defence & Aerospace Exhibition and Conference (BSDA) in Bucharest, the organizers told BTA. BSDA is the largest defence, aeronautics and security exhibition in Eastern Europe.
Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and Defence Minister Angel Tilvar took a close look at the fighter jet. Ciolacu and his coalition partner, President of Romania's National Liberal Party Nicolae Ciuca, also checked out several weapons on display at the event and discussed possible defence investments.
At the opening of the event, the Romanian PM announced that Economy Minister Stefan-Radu Oprea is preparing an ambitious Romanian drone project.
