Outbound truck traffic is heavy at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lessovo border crossing points on Bulgaria’s border with Turkiye, the Border Police reported, citing data as of 6:00 p.m. Sunday.

Traffic at all border crossings with Romania is normal. Due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, a temporary traffic organization is in place. Vehicles are passing in a single lane under a controlled regime regulated by personnel from the contractor company, the Border Police recalled. They also noted that Sunday morning, due to critically low levels of the Danube River, the ferry platform serving the Oryahovo–Bechet border crossing suspended operations until the water level returns to normal.

Traffic at all border crossings with Greece is normal. Construction work is under way on the Greek side along the Rudozem–Xanthi route. Greek authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and entry is not permitted.

Traffic is also normal at all border crossing points along Bulgaria’s borders with Serbia and the Republic of North Macedonia, the Border Police said.
