site.btaGovernment Approves Draft Agreement with Turkiye on Health and Medical Sciences


The Council of Ministers Tuesday adopted a decision approving a draft Agreement between the Governments of Bulgaria and Turkiye in the fields of health and medical sciences, as a basis for negotiations.
The Agreement foresees cooperation and exchange of experience between the two countries in areas including public health, hospital management, medicinal products, and more, with a focus on sharing knowledge and expertise in emergency situations and disasters.
Upon its entry into force, the Agreement will terminate the Protocol on Cooperation in Health between Bulgaria and Turkiye covering the period 1994–1996.
Cooperation under the Agreement will be carried out in accordance with the budgetary allocations of each country.
