Today we heard very institutional words, very harsh words about culture. I would like to remind you that culture is, above all, a personal responsibility," said Zachary Karabashliev.

The Askeers were presented by the actors of the Army Theatre, dressed in costumes from the productions on the current repertoire of the company.
The ceremony was attended by Culture Minister Marian Bachev, Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov, and Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev.
The event took place for the 34th time on May 24 - the Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture and the Day of Slav Letters, at the Bulgarian Army Theatre.
