Asked to comment on the third motion of no confidence in the Government of Rosen Zhelyazkov, There Is Such a People Floor Leader Toshko Yordanov told journalists Tuesday that the opposition has the right to exercise itself with motions of no confidence. In his words, such motions are meaningless at the moment, unjustified as theses, and on top of that block the work of the National Assembly, because instead of dealing with legislation and passing the necessary laws, Parliament will waste a whole week with debates about nonsense, which in the end will conclude ingloriously.
The third vote of no confidence in the Zhelyazkov Cabinet is over what is considered the Government's failure in the field of fiscal policy and the eurozone. The motion was tabled on June 27 by Vazrazhdane and with the support of Velichie and Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh).
