Entrepreneurs and managers shared their experience and good practices on the path to the success of their companies and businesses at a discussion here on Tuesday. It was entitled "Habits of Successful People and Companies".
M3 Communications Group Manager Maxim Behar said that working is the most valuable lesson in his life, shown by his father. He commented that habits are a rather boring thing, because they have always put people in a comfort zone with the fact that they have to do the same thing every day. Therefore, he said, in business and in life, instead of habits, people should have some postulates, definitions or things that are pragmatic, from which to learn and follow. Behar emphasized the importance of quick decision-making, as well as self-confidence, adding that precision, pro-activity and integrity are just as important as well, as it is not possible to rush things nowadays. "We have to do things every day that are interesting and provide added value, and without integrity it is very difficult to do anything", he concluded.
Teacher and Media Skills Consultant Dessie Stoyanova noted three principles for success, namely learning to listen and hear the other, learning to formulate one own's messages clearly, understandably, specifically, and cultivating one's smiling "I", as smiling people will always be better accepted and it will be easier to hear and follow them.
EOS Matrix Manager Reny Mitkova underscored that one of the habits they are working on in the company is to celebrate their successes in advance, adding that this turns out to be a very good attitude towards life.
Elevate Manager Ivaylo Slavov pointed out that success is if a person can do one good deed a day, adding that in different stages of life these are different things. He noted that first there is competition, then personal growth, followed by entrepreneurship and finally, the phase of contributing with good deeds.
Zoya Paunova, Honorary Consul General of Sweden in Bulgaria, stated that the short definition of success is to touch many lives, while at the beginning of the longer definition is always quality education. "With the accumulation of knowledge you can turn it into an exciting professional path, so that you can fulfill your dreams, as well as personal success, such as to create a home and family, as well as to be an active citizen", she emphasized. Among her habits leading to success, she pointed out curiosity, having an open mind for innovative solutions and believing in oneself, because it is important to realize how vast our own possibilities are.
Tiger Technology CEO Iravan Hira said that success is seeing success in the eyes of others, and the most important driver for this is values. He noted the importance of the way people as parents raise their children through values and to know what is good and what is bad.
The event was organized by the Business Global magazine, with BTA as a media partner.
