Stiliyana Nikolova won a gold medal on ball and Dara Stoyanova took silver on hoop on the first day of the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup, which is being held for the first time in Burgas.

Nikolova is leading the all-around standings of the Cross Battles with a total of 56.032 points, while Dara Stoyanova is eighth with 50.082 points. In second and third place, respectively, are Vera Tugolukova (Cyprus) with 54.466 (26.666 hoop and 27.800 ball) and Amalia Lica (Romania) with 54.165 (27.599 and 26.566).
