In the second half of 2025, gross indigenous production (GIP) of bovine animals in the EU is expected to reach over 12.1 million head. This would correspond to an increase of 2.1% compared to the same period in 2024, when 11.9 million head were produced, according to the latest forecast data from the European statistics agency Eurostat released on Monday
