The European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, will visit Bulgaria for the EU Meets the Balkans Forum on April 8, the European Commission said on Friday.

The conference will bring together EU leaders, foreign ministers, politicians, NGO representatives and young people, who will discuss the next steps towards strengthening regional cooperation, regional integration and EU enlargement.

Commissioner Varhelyi's speech at the forum will be broadcast live at 10:00 am on EbS+.

The Commissioner is scheduled to meet with President Rumen Radev and to hold bilateral meetings with participants in the forum.
