site.btaNational Culture Fund to Allocate BGN 8.4 Mln for Projects by End of 2023

Just over BGN 8.4 million will be distributed by the National Culture Fund (NCF) by the end of 2023 through two funding programmes for projects called "Creation" and "Dissemination", said NCF director Sava Dragunchev, who participated in an information meeting with local organizations in Varna at the invitation of the Municipality. With him were the experts from the Fund Teodora Zaharieva and Elena Dzhogleva. 

Funding through both programmes will be in five areas, Dragunchev said and appealed to all applicants to carefully choose which one their project falls under. The areas are performance, screen and visual arts, music and literature. For each of them BGN 1.5 million have been allocated, and the remaining BGN 840,000 in the budget are for the co-financing of the approved national projects under the Creative Europe programme, the NFC director specified.
