More than 56% of Sofia residents plan to vote in the local elections in Sofia, 16.1% are undecided, and 27.6% are unlikely to vote, according to the data of a survey of the "Center for Analysis and Marketing", presented by its director Yuli Pavlov here on Friday.

The survey was funded and implemented by the Center for Analysis and Marketing in the period between July 21 and 25. The survey was carried out among 1,212 adult residents of Sofia. The method of data registration was a direct standardized face-to-face interview.

Sofia mayor candidate of Continue the Change, Democratic Bulgaria and "Save Sofia", Vasil Terziev, would get 33.4% of the votes if the elections were this week, and Georgi Georgiev from GERB - UDF would get 22.7%. The third place in Sofia would be Deyan Nikolov from Vazrazhdane with 12%, followed by Vanya Grigorova from BSP with 10.6% and Vili Lilkov with 4.8%.

Georgi Georgiev and Vanya Grigorova have not been officially declared candidates for mayor.

According to the survey, 34.1% would vote for the list of CC-DB and "Save Sofia" for municipal councilors, 26.8% for GERB-UDF, 12.2% for Vazrazhdane, 7.8% for BSP, There Is Such a People (TISP) and Bulgarian Rise would win 2.2% each, followed by the "Left" with 2%. People, who would not support anyone in the vote are estimated to be 3.6%.

Yuli Pavlov also presented the attitudes of the citizens of Sofia for possible parliamentary elections. A total of 33,1% of the capital's citizens would vote for CC-DB and "Save Sofia", 26,9% for GERB-UDF,  Vazrazhdane would get 12,4%, BSP would get 7,5% and TISP - 2,2%.

Just over 34% of Sofia residents believe that Nikolay Denkov's government is performing rather well, while 24% see it as rather unsuccessful. In Sofia the most trusted are Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova. President Rumen Radev and GERB leader Boyko Borissov rank fourth and fifth.

Just over half of the Sofia residents surveyed said that high prices and inflation are the most serious problem facing Bulgaria, nearly 22% said it is the fight against corruption, 12.5% - judicial reform and the change of the Constitution, and 11.7% - joining Schengen and the eurozone.
