Renowned rock band Guns N' Roses played a concert at Arena Nationala stadium in Bucharest on July 16 as part of its world tour. It was supported by Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons - the family band of the longtime Motorhead guitarist. The event took place.

Axl Rose, Slash and Duff Mckagan were on stage together for the first time in 27 years. In front of 40,000 fans, they performed 26 songs, including some of their most established hits Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Paradise City and Sweet Child O`Mine. The entire stadium sang the track November Rain.

The fans erupted when the vocalist addressed them by saying "How are you, Romania? Good to see you" and sang Welcome to the Jungle. Axel Rose kept changing his shirts and showed up with one with the Ukrainian flag on the Civil War song, and the stadium was lit up in yellow and blue – the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

The band thematically used the image of the Vlach ruler Vlad Tepes for one of the posters for the Bucharest concert. Tepes served as a prototype for the literary hero Dracula.

So far, Guns N' Roses have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, including 45 million in the US. Recently, the video for the song November Rain exceeded 2 billion views, becoming one of the most watched rock videos of all time.

The first Guns N' Roses concert took place on March 26, 1985 in Hollywood, California. In 2012, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

An online ranking done in late 2010 by the music website MusicRadar proclaimed Axl Rose as the best singer of all time because of the wide range of his voice.
