site.btaPresident Radev to Unveil New Vasil Levski Monument in Troyan
President Rumen Radev will visit Troyan on Monday for the inauguration of a monument to Bulgarian national hero Vasil Levski, the Presidency said.
Radev will receive the honorary formation of the National Guard at the "Vazrazhdane" Square in Troyan. The President and the Troyan Municipality Mayor - Donka Mihailova, will unveil the monument with the face of the Apostle of Freedom and the memorial plaque with the names of the founders of the Troyan Revolutionary Committee created by Vasil Levski. The monument will be consecrated by Lovech Metropolitan Gabriel. The Head of State will greet the residents and guests of Troyan on the occasion of the unveiling of the sculpture created by Boris Borisov with donations.
Before the opening ceremony President Radev will visit the Military Geographical Service in Troyan.
The residents and guests of Troyan will be able to see the visiting photo-documentary exhibition "Everything I have done, I did it for my country" from the National Museum "Vasil Levski"- Karlovo, between July 18 and 20.
