site.btaPM Denkov to Be Received in Brussels by NATO Secretary General, Presidents of EC and European Council

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will be received in Brussels June 28 by the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen, the two institutions said Tuesday. The NATO headquarters said that Denkov will also be meeting with Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

During his first trip to Brussels in his capacity as Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Denkov will attend a meeting of EU state and government leaders on June 29-30. The participants will discuss the European response to the war in Ukraine, improving security in the economy and enhancing EU defence.

The agenda also includes EU-NATO relations, migration and the protection of the external border.
