site.btaCompanies in Bulgarian, Turkish Railway Sector Meet at Business Forum

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), together with the Trade Representation of the Republic of Turkiye in Bulgaria, and the Green Transport Cluster organized a business forum to present Bulgarian and Turkish companies in the field of railway infrastructure, train production and shipping, BCCI on Monday.

The event was held to promote cooperation between Bulgarian and Turkish companies in the sector of railway transport, provide an opportunity for exchange of experience, implementation of new technologies and establishment of business contacts.

Among the participants in the forum were the Turkish company Kardemir. The company was founded in 1937 to become the first integrated industrial enterprise in Turkiye and the only manufacturer of railway rails and tracks in the region. The Bulgarian railway sector was represented by Bulmarket, Kolowag (maker of wheelsets and provider of machining sercuces), and the Traktsia wagon building and repair plant.
