site.btaSpa Centre of Uva Nestum Complex Building New Chlidren's Play Area, Room with Educational Games
Uva Nestum Wine & SPA in the town of Gotse Delchev is one of the first complexes to offer a comprehensive wine-themed experience. The spa centre offers themed therapies using products derived from grapes. "For 10 years now, we have been offering a service that makes wine tourism accessible, rather than an elitist experience," manager Tsvetelina Bilareva-Paskova told BTA.
The Uva Nestum Wine & SPA complex is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and innovative technology designed for facial and body therapies, and offers wine therapy, in which wine or secondary vine products such as grapes, grape seeds, skins, vine stems, and leaves are used for the rejuvenation and recovery of the body. A salt flotation cabin is also available, where, in a state of weightlessness, a person can free himself from the concept of time and space and stimulate inner harmony, the manager explained.
An indoor pool with a temperature between 30–32 C, an indoor jacuzzi with built-in jets and a temperature between 37–39 C, a fitness centre, a classic Finnish sauna, a steam room, adventure showers, an ice fountain, a heated bench, and a salt room for relaxation and halotherapy are also available to guests at the spa centre. During the summer season, guests can enjoy two outdoor pools with separate hydro-massage zones and a children’s pool with a water slide.
The complex has its own winery and boasts 23 decares of vineyards planted with Syrah, Rubin, Tamyanka, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot.
Uva Nestum is a boutique complex offering 24 rooms and nine apartments across an area of 5,000 square meters, and the hotel’s architecture and numerous windows create a sense of closeness to nature.
A heated passageway is being built within the complex to connect the hotel and the restaurant, along with new playrooms, the manager said. One room is designed for older children and will offer interactive educational games, while the other is a completely renovated children’s play area connected to the gardens.
