Salla Estate Riesling 2023 topped the DiVino TOP 50 ranking for 2025. The ceremony where the winning wines in the TOP 50 and TOP 10 were announced, took place in the Sofia Grand Hotel Millenium on Thursday.
DiVino founder Emil Kolarov said that DiVino TOP 50 "has never been just a rating but a moment of reckoning when we try to answer the questions about where Bulgarian wine stands today, where it is going, and do we have the courage to admit the truth".
Koralov believes that Bulgarian wines continue to get better but the pace at which this is done, gets slowed down while "the world doesn't wait".
Deputy Tourism Minister Pavlin Petrov said that DiVino TOP 50 offers Bulgarian winemakers an opportunity to open their wineries for the people, help develop the wine culture, preserve the history of Bulgarian wine and create a community that will develop wine tourism in the future.
Petrov said that the Tourism Ministry supports all wine events.
