site.btaBulgaria Air to Resume Seasonal Flights from Sofia to Milan from March 3
National carrier Bulgaria Air will resume its seasonal direct flights on the Sofia-Milan-Sofia route, with the first flight to Milan Malpensa Airport scheduled for March 3, the airline’s press centre announced on Friday.
According to the announcement, flights will operate three times a week - on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Bookings are available for travel from March through October.
The airline added that flights will be operated with its new Airbus A220 aircraft, offering passengers greater comfort, including more personal space, lower noise levels, and power outlets at every seat for electronic devices.
At the end of 2025, the airline announced the launch of a new route between Sofia and Porto, which will begin operations on April 9, 2026.
