site.btaFestive Lights to Illuminate BTA Facade for the New Year

In celebration of the New Year, the facade of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) building will be illuminated in a range of colors with flashing lights, creating a firework-like effect. 

The festive lighting will be on from December 31 to January 2.

The BTA building was illuminated for the first time on February 16, 2025, on the occasion of the Agency’s 127th anniversary. Under BTA’s internal rules on facade lighting, the building is normally lit in blue, the Agency’s official colour. On public holidays and other significant dates and events, as well as on the holidays of organizations of which Bulgaria is a member, the facade is illuminated in colours and patterns appropriate to the occasion.
