The Municipality of Pleven believes that through knowledge and education young people can make Bulgaria and the city a better place to live. This is what the Mayor of the Municipality of Pleven Dr. Valentin Hristov said Wednesday at the opening of the local conference "Europe on Balkans" in Pleven, which BTA is implementing with the support of the European Commission.

The Mayor pointed out that this year the Municipality of Pleven has allocated more funds for education. He wished success to the forum.

The local conference in Pleven is part of the activities of a project that BTA is implementing with the support of the European Commission. Its aim is to provide objective and comprehensive information in order to give an accurate overall picture of the European Union's cohesion policy, including the Just Transition Fund, relevant support under the Recovery Plan for Europe or from the Technical Support Instrument. Special emphasis is placed on education and skills as a driver for regional development.
