Bulgaria Eases Entry Measures
for United Kingdom

Sofia, October 8 (BTA) Ц Bulgaria is easing the regime for entrance of citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
As of October 10, citizens of the United Kingdom and members of their families arriving from a EU member state, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which is in the Сred zoneТ shall be allowed on the territory of Bulgaria upon presenting a valid digital EU COVID-19 certificate for vaccination or having the infection, or a similar document, simultaneously with a negative result of a PCR test taken up to 72 hours prior to entry in this country.
In case the persons do not present such a document, they may be allowed on the territory of the country only after presenting a negative result of a PCR test taken up to 72 hours prior to entry in this country and placement under quarantine for a period of 10 days at the home or another place of accommodation where the person has indicated he/she shall reside.
The following are added to the list of countries whose certificates attesting to vaccination, testing and having the infection are considered equal to the EU digital COVID-19 certificate: the Principality of Andorra, the Republic of Albania, the Faroe Islands, the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of Panama, the Kingdom of Morocco and Israel, the ministry added.
