site.btaGovernment Approves EUR 250 Mln Framework Loan Agreement with Council of Europe Development Bank

The Government has approved a Framework Loan Agreement worth EUR 250 million between Bulgaria and the Council of Europe Development Bank, under the Co-financing Mechanism for Programs co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus for the 2021–2027 programming period, and has also proposed that the National Assembly ratify it, said the government press service Wednesday.

The signing of the framework loan agreement is provided for in the State Budget Act.

The ratification and entry into force of the Agreement will contribute to the development of projects in the fields of social services, human resources, and education. It will provide part of the necessary financial resources to cover the national co-financing required for the implementation of projects under the programs Human Resources Development 2021–2027 and Education 2021–2027.
