Draft amendments to the rules of organization of Bulgaria’s Industrial Centre in Moscow, which provide for reducing the centre's staff, have been published for consultation on the Public Consultation Portal.

The centre has been understaffed in recent years due to the complicated political situation, and its staff is therefore to be reduced from 11 to 6 full-time positions, according to a report by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Industry Vladimir Tudzharov to Minister Petar Dilov.

The amendments are scheduled to come into force on July 1, 2025.

The Industrial Centre is located on an area of 2.5 hectares, according to the Centre's website. Its facilities consist of an administrative building with offices, warehouses and a residential block, which can accommodate Bulgarian entrepreneurs and seconded civil servants.
