Bulgarian Posts will resume accepting all types of Israel-bound parcels on May 20, 2026, its press service said Monday.

Last Friday, Bulgarian Posts said it will resume accepting outgoing parcels to Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Oman as of May 18, 2026.

In early March, Bulgarian Posts suspended all types of shipments to countries in the Middle East, including Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. The measure was introduced following flight cancellations by airlines and the closure of regional airspace after joint Israeli and US airstrikes against Iran.
