Bulgarian kickboxers won another 14 gold medals on the last day of the 30th Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup 2025.

Bulgaria was represented by 145 athletes, who played 238 matches in three days in different styles and categories in the ring and on the tatami. This was one of the most successful competitions for the Bulgarian kickboxers this year, who will return with a total of 30 gold, 27 silver and 37 bronze medals in the competition of 2,643 participants from 52 countries.

“Everyone did a great job. In this huge sporting forum with this fierce competition, we proved again that we are a world power in kickboxing. It is time to review the results and complete the line-up for the upcoming centralized training in August. We are going to participate in the World Games in China, where we have won three quotas and the European Cadet Championships in September,” said Galin Dimov, President of the Bulgarian Kickboxing and Muay Thai Confederation.
