Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) provided gifts for talented children from Turkiye who drew Bulgarian landmarks for the exhibition “The Bridge of Colours: Children with Special Talents from Turkiye Paint Bulgaria,” which was opened at the BTA National Press Club in Ankara on December 29, 2025.

The children received “Discover Bulgaria” games from the country’s oldest media institution, which were presented by Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Turkiye Angel Cholakov.

The diplomat thanked the exhibition’s partners - the Nasreddin Hodja Science and Art Centre and the Balkan Immigrants Economic Research and Social Solidarity Foundation (BISAV) - for fostering friendship and ties between Bulgaria and Turkiye. He noted that the first days of March are marked by many important holidays for Bulgaria, such as Baba Marta, the National Holiday on March 3, as well as March 8, when Bulgaria celebrates both International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day.

BTA correspondent in Ankara Ayshe Sali also congratulated the children on the occasion of Baba Marta. She pointed out that the exhibition, which opened in winter, was bringing them gifts in spring, and wished that the games would offer yet another opportunity to learn about and grow fond of Bulgaria.

The exhibition will remain at the BTA press club in Ankara until the end of March.
